Hi everyone. This weekend I am checking through the final MS of my book and the Index before it goes to the typesetters and thence the printers.
Many people have asked me why I decided on 'The Greatest Escape' as the title for my book. The simple reason is that my father, during his life, had a series of narrow escapes - mostly during his time in the RAF and as a POW.
Below is a snippet from the book that you can download that describes one of those events. Be warned the details are somewhat harrowing.
